 Been honing your serve all year? Got a dusty racket in the garage? Perfect! The Candlelighters Tennis Tournament is a great place for tennis pros and novices alike to enjoy a fun-filled day that benefits the Any Baby Can Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Program.
The tournament will be held April 16, 2010, at the Courtyard Tennis Club with a round robin tournament at 2:00pm (registration at 1:00) and a dinner, awards ceremony and silent auction from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Jeff Bailey, who lost his life to cancer, had a special empathy for children with the disease. Following his diagnosis, Jeff became a strong supporter of the Any Baby Can Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Program. In his memory, Jeff’s professional and tennis friends hold the annual tournament to benefit Candlelighters.
 The Candlelighters Tennis Tournament is a service project of NAIFA-Austin and the Austin Association of Health Underwriters (AAHU.) NAIFA and AAHU provide leadership in sustaining and improving the business environment and professional skills for those in the life insurance, health insurance and financial services professions. Providing an outlet for community services is one of the many ways these groups work to help their members.
