2004 Rockin' Roundup

Picture this: an old saloon, can-can dancers in fish-net stockings, the good guys, the bad guys, rip roarin’ music, “friendly” games, hot grub and cold drinks. One heck of a party!
It’s the 2004 Any Baby Can Rockin’ Roundup Saturday, March 27…The Wild, Wild West!

We’re going to transport you nice folks back to those days of lawlessness. The Texas Disposal Systems Exotic Game Ranch and Pavilion will be transformed into the ABC Saloon – L. Carl, Proprietor. You’d have a good mind to watch your back there at the saloon…you never know what outlaws may be lurkin’ around.

When it comes to good grub, we’ve got some fine choices, like venision chili masa cups and wild turkey pot pie, thanks to Leslie Moore and Word of Mouth Catering. Top that off with homemade pie from Texas Pie Company. If you leave hungry, it ain’t our fault!

Entertainment? Why, we’ll have you and your posse kickin’ up your boot heels with tunes from the old and new West. We’re planning a rip roarin’ extravaganza complete with cowboys, outlaws, lawmen and the prettiest ladies this side of the Mississippi. But don’t forget your poker face. You might need it during the Live and Silent Auctions. (Our own posse rustled up a Longhorn calf to auction off!) And, you’ll have a chance to bid on trips to other Wild West towns, like Taos, New Mexico, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Then for you big-city types, we’ll have a Wine Tastin’ in your home, complete with high-falutin’ food!

We’re honoring Kelli and Eric Brown. They’re good, clean folks and long time supporters of Any Baby Can, who, with their time and generosity, help to make our town a better place.

So grab your hat and bandana, shine up those dancin’ boots, and invite some other gunslingers to join you. It’s for a good cause – the kids and families of Any Baby Can. This is a chance to show just how big (hearted) you are.
