October, 1 2004 declared Ruth
Wells Day
Friday October 1, 2004 was officially
declared “Ruth Wells Day” to honor ABC Employee
Ruth Wells' 20-year service to the Austin Community.
She was presented a proclamation from the Mayor’s
office by Jackie Goodman, Mayor Pro Tem, and then all
ABC staff celebrated with cake. Below is a letter from
one of Ruth’s class members.

for her tireless service.
